After revolutionizing the music, film, publishing world, the Internet will change no doubt the universe controlled television.
Far from the image of Epinal, which means that the connected TV is simply connected to the Net to access several widgets without interest or a web browser and surf as it does on a PC, I found the promises of TV connected to various content platforms (Portal, catch up TV, VOD ...) and new application interfaces (Twitter, Facebook, video conf ...), but especially objects (Smartphones technology and tablets at first, sofas and other everyday objects in a second ...).
Smartphones and especially the shelves like the iPad will replace the remote control. They provide ergonomic and intuitive interfaces to navigate and use all the options offered by the connected TV.
Shelves will become new media and interactive services to consume differently television: playing with an application on his relationship with the iPad content on its TV, share comments with friends Facebook or you can select the film since its iPad you want to watch and slide your finger to your TV for broadcast on the big screen.
Here is a use for which Steve Jobs did not have to think Is this finally the tablet that will truly launch the TV connected? I think so ...
Meanwhile, world delinearized Internet comes gradually into TV and regulated channels that we currently know will be strong competition from new players.

We can well imagine that a person read the news via their smartphones in the subway in the morning going to work, consults again on his PC at lunchtime and evening on his TV set and that each new consultation, information already read are not displayed again on the principle of unified identification and non discontinuity of Internet objects.
The same example could be given for a film. I look at the top on my shelf, a little later I continue on my PC and I watch the late night on my TV screen.
As I said above brands will have to once again reconsider new editorial logic and formats that meet new uses from the Internet of Things. TV is one of the first "objects" involved, but others will follow ...
